 The Hackensaw Boys, a stringband from Virginia, are known for their steady driving while constantly evolving and involving everyone they meet with a new brand of American music.

 Randy Crouch often referred to as the "World's Greatest is a ground breaker on the Red Dirt music
scene.  Although best known for his incredible fiddle playing, he also plays guitar, pedal steel, piano,and a mean slide mandolin. As if his outstanding  musicianship wasn't enough, Randy is also a
talented singer and  gifted songwriter.  His songs have been covered by Gary P. Nunn, the Zen Okies, Tom Skinner, the Burtschi Brothers, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers to name just a few.  Besides fronting his own band, Flying Horse, and being a member of the Woody Guthrie Folk
Festival and Marble Falls Festival house bands, Randy also plays with the Red Dirt Rangers and has sat in with almost every other Red Dirt band of note.  His musical presence has a way of making everyone he plays with sound better.
